About SkillTrove

SkillTrove is a free, independent directory of agent skills. It helps you find a skill, see its license, and copy the install command.

What we list

We list 1,361 skills from 8 public GitHub repos, checked 2026-10-13. Each skill is a folder with a SKILL.md file.

What we do not do

• We do not host skill files. Install commands pull from the author's own repo.
• We are not run by Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Cursor, or OpenClaw.
• We quote a description only when the license allows it. See the listing policy.

How the check works

Each skill gets a basic automated scan for risky patterns, like shell pipes or credential paths. It is not a security audit. Read a skill before you install it.

For AI agents and tools

We publish llms.txt, llms-full.txt, a JSON file of all skills, and an RSS feed.
